Advertising

The main focus in this advertisement is the perfume called "heated". what comes to me with this advertisement  is that BeyoncĂ© is dressed to look "heated" so that calls for her to dress all sexy and barley have any clothes on, her hair all blown back like she has a fan on it. Everything is just perfect in this picture just for the perfume heated.

Sex Symbol

Marylin Monroe and Pam Anderson were the sex symbol for America in the 1990, because of how they acted and how they dressed, they made themselves look pretty fake. They were also known for having a ton of husbands in a short period of time. I think the new sex symbol today would have to be Miranda Lambert, the reason I think that is because she is a beautiful lady even though she is bigger. in one of her songs she talks about how any girl is beautiful in there won way. I think that is more what this world is coming down to rather than in the 90s where they were all worried about how good  they were and who they could impress.

Millennium

We have our good and our bad things that have happened in this millennium. The good things that have happened is technology is the biggest thing that has impacted us. It teaches us a lot and there are so many different types from a computer, laptop, I pod, even I phones. I think it is it pretty awesome how we can use most of those devices where ever we would like, we don't just have to be in one spot. The bad thing from all of this technology is that there is no interaction with humans anymore. For example when I walk into a classroom all you see is kids on there phones. Either on Facebook, instagram, twitter, or maybe just texting. That use to be how people made friends was by socializing.

Happiness 2/2/14

After I read these two articles I realize that they both talk about how happy you can be in life. Some people are happy in different ways. People think they can be happy from buying special things that they think mean a lot to them but in the long run they don't even remember what they bought a week ago, the only reason they bought that item right there was so they could feel happy. Another example is from the article The Futile Pursuit of Happiness we all predict what is going to make us happy in the future, though we are usually wrong. No one can predict what is going to make them happy in the future. If they try that then they are going to be disappointed when something doesn't go the way they predicted it. You can never assume when your going to be happy in life it will come to you when the time is right.
